Training: Adapting Vroom Content

Module 3: Attribution

All Vroom Content must be attributed to Vroom.

Part of the success of Vroom comes from our “surround sound” approach.

The more we can remind parents of the importance of brain-building with their child in the moment, the more we can make this second nature for them. Attributing Vroom Content not only helps remind caregivers of the source of the content, but it also helps unify the collective efforts of multiple licensees. Think of the Vroom logo as a reminder and a wayfinding tool for brain-building!

The Big Idea

The key here is to let your organization shine! Whether Vroom Tips are part of your existing materials or being used to develop something new, please credit Vroom Content with the “Powered by Vroom” or "Inspired by Vroom" logos for attribution.

How do I attribute Vroom Content?

When you use Vroom Content, you will need to use a special Vroom logo. Your Vroom Content License will tell you if you should be using the “Powered by Vroom” or the “Inspired by Vroom” logo lockup. This depends mostly on the level of adaptation you will undertake. Most new translations will use the “Inspired by Vroom” logo lockup, while adaptations for context or format will usually use the “Powered by Vroom” logo.

For light adaptation and reformatting of Vroom Content as well as unedited/copy-and-pasted content in your own designs, channels and materials.

For significant adaptation and localization of Vroom Content, including translations. (Primarily approved for internal activation.)

When is attribution required?

Attribution is required for any Vroom Content–whether or not it has been adapted. This includes Vroom Tips, Brain Building Basics, promotional text, and any copy on the Vroom website, app or printed materials. “Powered by Vroom” and “Inspired by Vroom” logos are for attribution purposes only and should always align with specific Vroom Content. This is to ensure that your organization shines as a trusted messenger and that Vroom isn’t taking credit for any content that isn’t ours.

When do I use the standard Vroom Logo?

The standard Vroom logo is used only when referring to Vroom, the program.

The Big Idea

Using the “Powered by Vroom” and “Inspired by Vroom” logo lockups helps distinguish between Vroom delivery channels and those of licensees. The standard Vroom logo is only used by Vroom, or with written permission when your organization is talking about Vroom as a program. Please check with Vroom before using our logo in this manner.
