What's in Module 2?

Module 2 looks at what it means to adapt Vroom Content to a new context, and helps you understand the planning you will need first.

When you have completed it, you should understand what an Adaptation Plan is and what its key components are. This will help prepare you to submit an A.L.T. Vroom Content License application.

These are the parts of Module 2:

  1. What's in Module 2?
  2. Adapting Vroom Content
  3. What Makes a Vroom Tip?
  4. Quick Check
  5. Your Adaptation Plan
  6. Key Stakeholders and Audience: The WHO
  7. Impact: The WHY
  8. Context and Placement: The WHERE
  9. Vroom Content: The WHAT

Thinking About Adapting Vroom Content?

Vroom works best when it is relevant to the caregivers in a community. Vroom is used “as-is” in many communities, but sometimes, an organization or community needs to make some changes – maybe it is for the language, activity examples or culturally specific references, or maybe it is for a unique delivery format. Does this describe your organization?

Why Do I Want to License Vroom Content?

Your organization and/or programs have specific goals. How does Vroom Content fit in? When you complete your application for an A.L.T. Vroom Content License, you must be able to answer this question.

In Your Context

Consider these questions for your application for an A.L.T. Vroom Content License:

  • What do I want to do with Vroom Content?
  • Will Vroom Content fit into our existing programs?
  • Will Vroom be a part of a new program or offering?
  • How will a license for adaptation help us reach our goals?
  • Will I need to translate or localize Vroom Content? Adapt it for format? Both?
